Hole Punch embraces the visual language of industrial design—concerned with replicability, simplicity, and adaptability—and employs wild, combative forms and bright colors in an effort to simultaneously welcome and undermine logic. Propriety can be a barrier, and this work is an invitation to confuse and upset the rules that makeup our material world.
Hole Punch was eventually exhibited on campus at the 2022 Graduate Design Biennial and at ICFF the same year.
